Heather Larson is a PhD candidate in sport psychology at the University of Alberta, as well as a masters swimmer and youth swim coach. The focus of her dissertation research is on how youth swimming experiences impact motivation for long-term participation in swimming (i.e. masters swimming!) Her study requires 300 or more participants to complete a single online survey that takes about 10-20 minutes. She is looking for anyone over the age of 18 who is
- currently registered as a masters swimmer with a Canadian swim club, (training with teammates and a coach), and
- participated in at least one season of competitive swimming as a youth (under age 18).
