Master Swimming Well Represented in Saskatchewan Sport Awards

Master Swimming was well represented on Thursday, March 22, 2018, during the Saskatchewan Sport Awards Gala.

Congratulation to Jennifer Gardiner, who won the 2017 Master Athlete of the Year award!

Jennifer swims with the Regina Masters Swim Club, and went to Budapest last summer to proudly represent Canada (you can read her mini-profile here).

Her results in Budapest:

  • 200 freestyle: 2:25.49 (14th)
  • 400 freestyle: 5:00.86 (5th)
  • 800 freestyle: 10:21.40 (5th)
  • 200 backstroke: 2:42.76 (8th)
  • 400 IM: 5:54.33 (10th)
