The Masters Swimming Canada Awards were established to recognize and celebrate the contribution and achievements of swimmers, coaches and volunteers who exemplify the spirit of Masters Swimming.
Below are the awards given by MSC.
The Hud Stewart Award
In the early '70s, Hud Stewart was instrumental in the development of Masters Swimming Canada. He was an enthusiastic swimmer, organizer and competitor for over 25 years. The Coaching Award
A great coach inspires, advises, challenges and helps swimmers to achieve their goals. Masters Swimming Canada wouldn't be what it is today without the hundreds of coaches who are dedicated and invest so much time and energy to do just that. Each year, the Excellence in Coaching Award recognizes a coach who stands out in this already exceptional group of people. The recipient of this prestigious award has significant individual and club accomplishments, is a long term contributor to Masters Swimming, presents a positive image of coaching and its role, demonstrates concern for the all-around development of the athlete and demonstrates integrity and responsibility while coaching.Learn more
